The motion of the periodic comets Harrington and du Toit-Neujmin-Delporte has been studied. The effect of the nongravitational forces has been included, and the parameters A1 and A2 have been derived. Since both comets show large observational gaps, an attempt was made to link the observations assuming that the nongravitational parameter A2 was constant up to a fixed time and then changed in value and/or sign to another constant value. While it appears difficult to obtain better results from these computations, it is clear that it is possible to make some inferences on the past motion of the two comets.
