The spectrum emitted from a nickel hollow cathode has been recorded in
the infrared region (1800 < σ < 9000 cm-1) with
the National Solar Observatory Fourier transform spectrometer. The
spectra have been used in order to identify many lines on new high
resolution solar spectra.
