The proton injection flux from the nuclei of some typical extragalactic radio sources (EGRS) is estimated. To do so, values of radio luminosities from these sources were measured, and the proton-proton collision model was assumed as a source of relativistic electrons which give rise to radio emission. The estimated values of the proton flux is in fairly good agreement with theoretical estimates of cosmic-ray fluxes within the same range of energy. This lends support to the fact that the nuclei of EGRSs might be the site for the generation of primary cosmic rays.
