Narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1s), as one subclass of active
galactic nuclei (AGNs), are more and more widely paid attention by
astronomers because of their special observational characteristics in
X-ray band. The progress of the observations in NLS1s is described, and
some main models are discussed in detail.
