Convolution is not only significant as a physical concept but is also a starting point for theoretical and statistical treatments of observational results. This paper discusses the evaluation of the different centered moments of a function which is itself a convolution of two or more functions of the same variable. The results are applied to the problem of an intercloud gas model.
