The Andromeda galaxy (M31) hosts a central super-massive black hole (SMBH) that is well known for its extraordinary mass (about 100 million solar mass) and extreme radiative quiescency. Over the past decade, the Chandra X-ray observatory has pointed to the center of M31 for nearly 100 times and accumulated a total exposure of about 900 ksec. Based on the Chandra data, we present a study of the X-ray emission from the SMBH and its accretion flow, which is hypothesized to have the largest angular span in the sky among its class.
