We have fallen off the edge of the calculable; at Strings 2008, CERN, this year we were told that all the various dimensional potentialities seem to meet at infinity, as well as that all the infinities indeed converge at eternity. It seems we are ready to tackle humanity's quest to find the find the "Great Beyond” through the field of modern science. Perhaps philosophy, science and the arts are indeed converging in the surging tide of the human spirit's quest to go beyond the confines of whatever might limit us to a finite horizon. Perhaps science itself has reached its 21st Century birthday and come of age, as it were, drunk the cup of natural philosophy, bootstrapped itself up and over its earliest ancient foundations in Leucippus, Epicurus and the Atomists notions of infinite worlds, having discovered more than 300 distant solar systems, and organic molecules littering dust clouds in space. Perhaps we are indeed ready to take on the world for the sake of a new vision and approach to the awesome cosmological reality that astrophysics is offering, meet Darwin face to face with life potentials evolving amongst various universes, as we enter International Year of Astronomy 2009.
