The metric coefficients of the retarded field of non-plane gravitational waves from a multipolar source at infinity are determined. These results can be used to obtain the expression for the power of the multipole radiation from a slowly rotating body. Calculations of the quadrupole radiation show that the radiation from a rotating body has a strong directivity. The calculated results for the total power of two pulsars are found to be in good agreement with previous estimates.
