Some most recent progress on atomic clocks including cold atom clocks, comparisons, optical standards and direct digital synthesis is given according to the 2001 IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium and PDA Exhibition. 87Rb fountain clocks now have been emphasized because its cold collision frequency shift is smaller than that for 133Cs. Optical clocks have been made progress as well. The latest performance of hydrogen maser is introduced at least.
