A lunar base is considered as a site for the effective investigation of the earth's magnetosphere by imaging the magnetosphere. The proposed technique involves image production with energetic neutral atoms generated by charge-exchange reactions between the magnetospheric plasma and exospheric hydrogen atoms. The technique is determined to be practical and feasible on a nearside lunar base and it can be applied to the imaging of UV, X-ray, IR, and radio wavelengths.
