The Alta'ameem hyperstene chondrite, a light gray brecciated and metamorphosed meteorite, is described. The main components of the chondrite are olivine (27% Fa), orthopyroxene (24.5% Fs), and plagioclase (An 10). Other minerals are listed, and the chemical composition is reported. The mineralogical and chemical analyses suggest that the Alta'ameem meteorite belongs to the amphoterite group of chondrites.
