The synthetic spectrum for the bright component of the close binary system υ Sgr in the wavelength region 3700 - 4800 Å was computed using the model atmosphere with the following parameters: Te = 13500K, lg g = 1.5 and N(H)/N(He) = 5×10-4. From the comparison of the observed and the synthetic spectrum in the wavelength region 3900 - 4900 Å the abundances of 33 chemical elements were estimated. The errors of the obtained abundances were discussed.
