Methods for the layout and projection of fine-scale maps of the moon, including regional, hemisphere, and full-surface maps, are discussed. Zonal representations composed of large blocks of sheets are recommended. Pseudocylindrical, semiconic, and azimuth projections are considered. Special attention is given to techniques for the construction of maps of natural features of the moon.
