A morphological analysis is presented for the H-alpha chromosphere of the postflare of Feb. 18, 1984 and its H-alpha SSHG spectrum. Also presented are the two-dimensional radial-velocity field and a qualitative explanation of the features of this field. This loop prominence is a postflare arch, and the observed features can be well explained by supposing that matter at the loop top falls mainly along the optically thick loop legs under the action of gravity and magnetic pressure.
