Based on optical microscopy and electron microprobe analysis, the Linum
(East Germany) chondrite is classified as an L6b chondrite that contains
olivine (Fa24), orthopyroxene (Fs20), clinopyroxene (Wo45En47Fs8),
plagioclase (An10Ab84Or6), nickel-iron, troilite, chromite and accessory
amounts of chlorapatite and whitlockite.
