The dependence of the light curve amplitude of asteroids on the phase
angle is modeled numerically for different light scattering laws.
Analysis of the results obtained makes it possible to identify laws of
brightness distribution over the disk which most fully satisfy the
scattering properties of asteroid surfaces.
