Revised galaxy types are estimated for 153 southern systems photographed as part of the Las Campanas survey of bright galaxies south of +20 deg declination. Luminosity classifications are provided, and the existence and usefulness of H II regions for distance determinations is indicated. A new class of 'Amorphous' galaxies is introduced to supplant the unsatisfactory Irr II classification. Observed spheroids, lenses, bars, rings, and disks are discussed, along with a number of galaxies of special interest. The latter include three systems that appear to be tidally interacting, several galaxies with resolved H II regions, and three galaxies with internal fine structure near their nuclei.
