The distribution of the QSO absorption-line redshifts (ALRs) can be expressed as the velocity distribution of absorbers relative to the emission-line redshift (ELR) (the β-distribution, β = v/c). The observational features of the β-distribution reveal that the absorbers cluster around QSOs and indicate some dynamical properties of the clutering of matter around QSO. The author has formed a model β-distribution and estimated the dynamical properties concerning such clustering.
