The design of the KRT-10, a spaceborne radio telescope, is discussed
including its launch into orbit, its deployment, and its placement in
operation on the Salyut 6. Experience gained in radio science and
results of astrophysical and geophysical studies performed with the
radio telescope are emphasized.
