This paper analysed the kinematics of 127 OH/IR sources. The authors found out deviations from the Galaxy circular motion. They also derived a model for the velocity distribution of OH/IR sources from the true spatial density distribution. For the OH maser sources associated with recently identified infrared sources (not IRC sources), there is a radial expanding velocity of 50 km/s at R ≡ 4.2 kpc from the galactic center. Finally, they discussed the difference and relationship between identified and unidentified OH/IR maser sources.
