The ultraviolet spectra of two main-sequence B stars, Pi Cet (HD 17081) and Nu Capricorni (HD 193432) recorded by the IUE satellite have been used to elaborate a reference atlas, with line identification, in the low wavelength range 125-198 nm. To obtain realistic identifications and to select the dominant contributors in blends, a synthetic calculation of most of the detected lines has been performed in the LTE approximation. About 80 percent of the 1460 measured stellar lines have a definite identification, 57 percent of them corresponding to a single assignment. The presence of 20 different elements (33 atoms or ions) is firmly established and the elimination of spurious identifications is justified. The observed spectra are displayed between 125 and 198 nm, with comparison to the calculated ones.
