The relationship between AV and distance (D) in the small
region near the young stars DI Cep and AS 501 is investigated. It has
linear character in the range from O.1 - 0.2 to 1.2 - 1.3 kpc. Some
estimates of AV and D for DI Cep and AS 501 are made.
