W63 (G82.2+5.3) is a large supernova remnant (95 times 65 arcminutes) seen on the northern edge of the Cygnus X complex. Its outline is quite precisely elliptical. We present radio continuum observations of W63 made with the DRAO Synthesis Telescope at 408 and 1420 MHz, and with the Miyun Synthesis Telescope at 232 MHz. These observations are used to separate thermal and non-thermal emission in the field, and to establish the spectral index of the SNR emission. The interaction of the SNR with the interstellar medium surrounding it is investigated on the basis of HI observations with the DRAO Synthesis Telescope which have an angular resolution of 1 arcminute.
