A program to measure the value of the isotopic ratio Li-7/Li-6 in the diffuse interstellar medium is described and the results are presented and discussed. A Coude echelle spectrometer was used for absorption spectrometry of Delta Sco and Zeta Oph, with reddenings of E(B-V) = 0.16 and 0.32, respectively. Since most of the Li in the diffuse interstellar medium is ionized, the amount of Li II was estimated using available Ca I and Ca II data. A total Li abundance for the whole line of sight toward Delta Sco of 4.5 x 10 to the -11th was obtained. The total Li-7 abundance toward Zeta Oph, after correcting for the presence of a second absorbing cloud along the line of sight, was 1.6 x 10 to the -10th. The total Li-7 abundance toward both stars could be compatible with the meteoritic value, but the Li-7/Li-6 ratio is not. This result could be due to a local inhomogeneity whose Li-7/Li-6 ratio results from processing in stars.
