The architecture of space governance may feature a nation in space at some future date. In the interim and in order to prepare for an off world estate, the United Nations and the space faring nations may join in the formation of a special legal authority to coordinate and help finance space development. The legal basis for this is discussed, as well as the structure of the entity for international imprimatur.
