Further results of a non-LTE treatment of 24 He I lines based on a model atmosphere for Beta Lyr primary are presented. The run of the b-factors with depth in the stellar atmosphere is presented along with their dependence on the adopted helium abundance. A comparison is made between equivalent widths when a NLTE approach is employed versus the LTE approximation for some He I lines of general interest. Evidence supporting the possibility that certain resonance and shell lines originate in a circumstellar envelope with low density is presented.
