Solar Microwave Bursts: Solar Flares, Solar Microwave Bursts: Polarization
Scientific paper
This microwave burst had a very high flux density, a very high degree of
polarization and very complex changes in polarization state. A
chromospheric white light flare was observed during the first peak of
the burst. The authors briefly discuss the time relation between the two
and the cause for the changes in polarization.
