Formulas accounting for the effects of the moon's shadow and semishadow have been developed for computing the solar light pressure perturbing forces for satellites. The formulas are convenient for the numerical study of satellite motion. Estimates are obtained showing that the conic model of the lunar shadow and semishadow gives more accurate results than the cylindrical model.
