A possible mechanism for the influence of a longitudinal electric field on the stability of Langmuir and ion-sound oscillations in solar magnetic traps is considered in post-flare loops. It is shown that the presence of a longitudinal electric field can lead to the growth of plasma instability. It is found that longitudinal electric fields observed in post-flare loops significantly influence the formation of ion-sound and Langmuir turbulence in loops.
