On the basis of the semi-classical theory, the influence of He+He++e and He2+e recombination and He+He*(n) ionization on the population of He*(n) atoms in helium plasma was considered and the corresponding rate coefficients were determined. These processes were compared with the electron-electron-ion recombination and electron-impact atom ionization processes in the case of non-equilibrium helium plasma with atomic temperature Ta and electronic temperature Te, within the ranges 2000 K≤Ta≤10000 K and 2000 K≤Te≤40000 K, with the principal quantum number 4≤n≤10. It was shown the significant role of the considered processes and demonstrated the necessity to take them into account for the low temperature plasma modelling. It was pointed out particularly the influence of the recombination processes, which, in some cases, may have even dominant role. For these processes, the rate coefficients for Te = Ta were presented as well.
