Laser Beam Divergence, Signal-To-Noise Ratio

The factors that influence the detecting ability of Laser Range-Finder are disacussed. The relations among the factors are obtained. It is shown that the key factor is the illuminating probability of the target. The method of optimizing the beam divergence is amended. The amended method can get fast speed and high precision. The polynomial fitting is used in this paper. Some examples are discussed for the proof of the improved method.
