We show a preview of the HST/ACS photometric catalog of the Orion Nebula Cluster (ONC). The catalog contains the photometric data gathered with the Wide Field Channel of ACS (ACS/WFC) over an area approximately 1/6 square degree centered on the Trapezium. The filters used were four broad-band [F435W (B), F555W (V), F775W (I), F850LP (z)] plus the narrow-band F658N(Hα). Thanks to the unparalleled sensitivity (to 23-24 mag), dynamic range ( 12 mag), and spatial resolution (50 milliarcsec, corresponding to 20 AU at the distance of ONC) of ACS/WFC, the catalog provides the deepest, most accurate and unbiased dataset yet of stellar optical photometry for pre-main-sequence objects in this critical star-forming region. We illustrate how these data can be used to derive the properties of the ONC members and of the cluster in general.
