A low resolution study of the blue spectra of ~20 bright giants in the globular clusters Terzan 7 and Arp 2 is proposed. These clusters are of interest as they are believed to have originated in the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy which has been recently accreted by the Milky Way. In a hierarchical galaxy formation scenario, some (perhaps large) fraction of the Milky Way's globular clusters are expected to have originated in similar dwarf galaxies. From these spectra we will extract C and N abundances which will then be compared with those found in Galactic globular clusters of similar metallicity. The Galactic globulars exhibit very unique abundance trends in these elements (C depletions with M_V, star-to- star scatter in N). Thus, this first survey of the C-N homogeneity of globular clusters associated with an extragalactic object will directly test whether the C-N composition of the Sagittarius dwarf clusters are consistent with the acquisition of the bulk of the Milky Way's globulars through the accretion of dwarf galaxies. Any opinions, findings, and conclusions expressed in this material are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
