This paper presents the first results obtained on a sample of multiple stars observed by Hipparcos, by two independent reduction methods (the Global Fitting approach and the Scanning Angle Functions method) on the basis of the data collected during the first 30 months of the mission. The preliminary results on a set of 10 triple stars are shown and discussed in detail.
