The High Energy Transient Explorer (HETE) is a small satellite devoted to the study of Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs). The instruments on board HETE are capable of detecting and localizing GRBs in real time: the coordinates of GRBs localized on board are distributed to ground observers within seconds by means of a dedicated network of "listen-only" ground stations and the GRB Coordinate Distribution Network (GCN). In this poster, we describe the operation of the HETE satellite and ground station network.
