The current understanding of HI structures on scales of 10 to 100 parsecs is dominated by observations of our own galaxy. We present new VLA HI observations of NGC595 and NGC604 in M33 at high spatial and velocity resolution (2.5 kms(-1) ), which reveal structures on scales of 25 to 100 parsecs. The topology of the neutral medium on these scales is grainy, indicating cloud complexes spanning tens of parsecs. Additional structure is found in filaments, with projected spatial extent up to 1 kpc. Representative samples of cloud complexes and filaments are discussed, and future work is outlined.
