The Hadron Facility at the Tien-Shan mountain cosmic-ray observatory includes an X-ray emulsion chamber, and point and line detectors of EAS Cerenkov radiation. The primary objective of Hadron are to study the spatial and energy characteristics of the EAS hadron component, the energy spectrum and nuclear composition of primary cosmic rays, and the interaction of these rays with air atom nuclei at energies of 10 to the 14th to 10 to the 16th eV. The facility is described, and event statistics are considered.
