Hα region spectra for five binary systems, ɛ Aur, ζ Aur, 31 Cyg, 32 Cyg and 22 Vul, were observed by the 1 m reflector Coudé spectrograph at Yunnan Observatory and the 2.1 m telescope Coudé Reticon at McDonald Observatory. All observations were taken outside their eclipses. The authors obtained line profiles, equivalent widths and radial velocities of Hα.
