The large body of Stroemgren photometry collected by Warren and Hesser (1977) for Orion B stars has been analyzed following Crawford's (1978) revised calibration for B stars. No evidence is found for any bias due to rotation in the determination of absolute magnitudes and distance moduli. Comparison to previous studies in Orion and in the Sco-Cen association illustrates the need for caution in the treatment of reddening and suggests that the revision of the standard ZAMS due to the increase in the accepted Hyades distance modulus ought not to be extended to very young clusters.
