New data concerning the interaction of the solar wind with a nonmagnetized body in space which was obtained from the Giotto Extended Mission observations of the Grigg-Skjellerup comet are summarized. Particular attention is given to mass-loading of the solar wind by comet ions, a fundamental process involved in the interaction between a comet and the solar wind.
