A possible plasma wave spectrum of a solar type III radio burst source
is pointed out which permits to explain weak nonlinear wave scattering
by ions in the frame of the quasi-linear generation model. The proposed
model permits to single out the range of characteristic velocity of the
burst agent propagation in the corona.
