The results of observations of the galactic center at optical, radio, and IR wavelengths are reported. The data were taken in April-August 1982 using CCD spectrography and photometry. Three components were found for the IR source IRS 16, all aligned in the galactic plane, with two outer H II features and a center made of late-type stars. The Sgr West nonthermal source was associated with the IRS 16 center component, which displayed no B-gamma emission at the sensitivity of the instrumentation used. The data were calculated to be accurate to within 0.4 arcsec, and some indication was obtained of the presence of IRS 7 within IRS 16.
