Archival HST images of 14 fields in local group spiral galaxy M31 taken through at least two filters have been fully reduced to color magnitude diagrams. The colors of the bright giants are used to construct histograms of fraction of stars as a function of abundance at each location. The field locations were chosen to sample M31 regularly in radius from nucleus to halo so that a composite abundance distribution can be computed. This observed ``closed box" distribution is compared to the Simple Model of chemical evolution to assess the severity of the G Dwarf problem in M31. Funded through grant HST-AR-08745.
