A relational database containing information on the Fraunhofer solar spectrum has been implemented on IBM XT/AT computers running MS-DOS/PC-DOS version 3.0 or later. The database includes the following principal features of the Fraunhofer lines in the solar spectrum: wavelength, chemical element and its ionization state, atomic transition, Lande factors, lower level excitation potential, central depth, equivalent width, oscillator force, and formation height. At present, the data bank contains data on 662 unblended solar spectrum lines of Fe I, Fe II, Ni I, Sc I, Sc II, Ti I, Ti II, V I, V II, Cr I, Cr II, Y I, Y II, Zr I, and Zr II.
