The dynamical, thermal, and chemical evolution of clouds with masses of 10 to the 8th to 10 to the 9th solar masses and primordial chemical composition in a radiation field are investigated. Theoretical calculations support the possibility that blue compact dwarf galaxies in galaxy clusters can be formed from matter with a primordial chemical composition.
