The FLAMINGOS Extragalactic Survey is a deep, near-infrared imaging survey designed to study galaxy evolution and the galaxy cluster population out to z ˜2. When complete the survey will cover 10 deg2 down to J=22 and Ks=20.5 (AB magnitudes), with the survey area consisting of two contiguous 5 deg2 in the NDWFS region. In this talk I present a brief overview of the survey and target science, including the current status of the program and preliminary results.
