We investigate thermodynamical properties of four- and five-dimensional black-hole solutions of toroidally compactified string theory. We find an explicit expression for the first law of black-hole thermodynamics. We calculate the temperature T, angular velocity 0264-9381/15/6/004/img1 and the electromagnetic potentials 0264-9381/15/6/004/img2 on the horizon using two different methods.
