In the course of its flight the Venera-11 space probe, launched in September, 1978, gradually deviates westward from the sun-earth line and explores the interplanetary space regions farther and farther from the earth. It is of interest, therefore, to compare the Venera-11 data with the IMP-8 data. Such an analysis was made by Ermakov et al. (1981) for April, 1979. Here the period of July-August, 1979, is examined when Venera-11 moved in azimuthal direction from 45 to 50 deg relative to the sun-earth line and in radial direction from 1 AU in July to 0.85 AU in August.
