A new reduction is presented of the high-galactic latitude whole-sky survey obtained with the D2B-AURA satellite at 1690 A. This reduction differs in several ways from the previously published one (Joubert et al., 1983), especially by a correction for gain variations with time which had remained unnoticed in the first reduction. The existence of a correlation between the UV sky background and gas and dust is confirmed. There are no clear local excesses at large scale of UV radiation with respect to the mean relations UV versus gas or dust column densities.
