A small infrared expedition photometer with a PbS detector cooled by
liquid nitrogen is described. The recording system is fed by a power
pack having a stabilized voltage of +/-15, +/-5 V with load currents of
up to 0.5 A. The mass of the photometer with electronic units and
cryostat is 8.9 kg.
